This is a bright pink evening coat in a very interesting nylon/poly blend material. The historical reference mixed with the interesting material really makes this a special piece; like it stepped off a modern Balenciaga or Prada runway. I've included a simple cherry red grosgrain ribbon to cinch in the waist.

About the Designer: Victor Costa

Before getting his start in bridal design, Victor Costa sold designs to American design icons Oleg Cassini and Ceil Chapman. He then joined the design house Suzy Perette in 1965 and traveled to Paris to select couture designs to copy. He later took over the house of Ann Margaret and renamed it under his own name. He would become the “king of copycats” producing copies of french couture designs and selling them at a ready-to-wear price.
