The waist and hips have gorgeous ruching with bow detail at the waist. The back is the real star here with a square panel of sheer lace adding a sexy touch. The long sleeves have three fabric-covered buttons and loop closures. Slightly structured shoulders to enhance the silhouette. There is a zipper closure on the side of the dress.

About the Designer: Oleg Cassini

Oleg Cassini is best known for the personal style and clothing he developed as the official designer for First lady Jacqueline Kennedy in 1961. Cassini first started his career in 1934 selling one-off designs in his mother’s store. In 1936 he moved to New York City and worked for many Seventh Avenue manufacturers. In 1940 he went to Hollywood where he designed costumes for 20th Century Fox. In 1950, the designer opened Oleg Cassini Inc. a ready-to-wear dress line under his own name. Cassini designed many feminine dresses often with accents like lace, chiffon, and taffeta. As Cassini moved into the 1960s his look began to incorporate ensembles with effortless silhouettes and clean lines.
