This is a lovely 1970s gown by Miss Elliette. The bodice is made of a tan material with an overlay of chiffon and burgundy color floral embroidery. Sheer poly chiffon encases the bodice and closes with a button at the top of the neck. The sheer long sleeves have elasticated cuffs. There is a zipper closure down the back.

About the designer: Elliette Ellis is the designer of her self-named line, Miss Elliette. After studying at the Traphagen School of Fashion and working for a dress manufacturer, Ellis started her own line in 1952. She made accessible dinner and cocktail dresses in feminine styles often with chiffon and embroideries.
